Of great importance in this whole discussion of progressive dispensationalism is the concept of an inaugurated kingdom. Without the doctrine of an inaugurated kingdom the cohesion of that entire system is basically destroyed. In addition, the concept of an inaugurated kingdom does tend to lend itself to replacement theology as is seen in the Church being called “the New Israel,” as noted
